Here are some videos from Monday Night Muay Thai class at Tai Kai. Muay Thai is offered Monday and Wednesday and 6PM. The class Is taught by Sifu Kevin Seaman. Come on down and try out a class and learn REAL Muay Thai and not from a weekend seminar. This is the form taught to Kevin Seaman by Master Surachai Sirisute. Master Surachai Sirisute brought Muay Thai to the United States and formed the Thai Boxing Association of the U.S.A.

We have real Muay Thai at Tai Kai Jiu-Jitsu.

This system is sometimes referred to as Thai Boxing. Developed from the unique culture of Thailand, Muay Thai is a blend of art, science and sport. The Thai art is a very powerful ring fighting method, yet is also an excellent form of physical conditioning and street self – defense. The fighting techniques taught in Thai Boxing include: the Western boxing method, elbow strikes, knees and the powerful Thai style of kicking. This, combined with a unique training method and discipline, makes Thai Boxing one of the most effective systems in the world. The system taught at Tai Kai is the form taught to Kevin Seaman by Master Surachai Sirisute. Kevin Seaman is an Associate Instructor and Special Advisor for the Thai Boxing Association of the U.S.A.

Congrats to Cory Lawson, Jay Humphrey, and Nathan Musick. Sifu Kevin Seaman had another round of Level 1 Thai tests at Tai Kai tonight. All three students passed. This was the first time the cage was used for Sifu’s Thai Test. Congrats to all the Muay Thai students and to Sifu Kevin Seaman for being such a great instructor. We looked foward to more Level 1 Muay Thai students in the future.
