Flavio Behring Seminar at Tai Kai- WOW!!!

All I can say is Wow. That was one of the best seminars I have ever been to. We are already looking forward to having him back.

Kids Seminar

The kids seminar lasted for an hour. It was great. Master Behring was patient with all the children and really wanted the kids to understand the details in every move. There were even a few moves from the kids seminar I picked up, including a sneaky choke from being placed in Kesa-Gatame. He went over self defense and ground techniques with the children. He also made sure the kids understood the history of Jiu-Jitsu and some of the experiences he had growing up in Brazil. The kids loved it.

Adult Seminar

The adult seminar lasted 3 hours. It was simply awesome. It started off by Master Behring explaining his history of studying and teaching Jiu-Jitsu. We then went into some self defense. The way he put the self defense moves together and combined them was incredible. We then went into some ground techniques. There were quite a few techniques along with some little details no one in the room had seen before. Some of it was the invisible jiu jitsu techniques you hear about these days. He also blended into the seminar his experience and stories of training and living in Brazil. He had so much positive energy and encouragement during the seminar that it made you feel so alive being there. We are ready to have him back today if possible. I would give this seminar the highest rating. So if you have the chance to attend a Flavio Behring seminar in the future, run don’t walk to the seminar!
